Ben and Jillian Prout purchased Prout’s Jollyview Farm in 2005, finally realizing Ben’s lifelong dream of owning his own farm. Located in Historic Oley Valley the farm consists of 122 acres of prime soil. Chestnut Knoll has 82 suites, 34 of which are located within our secured dementia care unit, area devoted to memory-impairing illnesses such as Alzheimer's Disease.
A Home Care services division was opened in Boyertown in 2003. Licensed by the Department of Health, Home Care was developed to meet the growing desire of individuals to receive assistance with the everyday tasks and still live in their own homes. Clayote Community Gallery & Studio
Clayote Community Gallery and Studio is open for business and friendship M-F 11-8pm and Saturdays 11-11. Our historic building provides an intimate and inspiring atmosphere for folks of any age, ability, to express their creative spirits through clay, yoga, bellydancing, music, drawing,meditation, painting and more. Of course there are clay parties and classes, available all day long. Other services on our schedule are provided by experienced teachers who all have the passion to help you find out more about yourself through different artistic mediums. Taylor Backes
Will Dexter and Karla Trinkley have exhibited their work nationally and internationally. Their objective in co-founding Taylor Backes Studio was to continue developing their own individual styles and to collaborate with other glass artists to produce distinctive, innovative work.
Both Will and Karla received BFA degrees from the Tyler School of Art and MFAs from the Rhode Island School of Design. They’ve lectured and taught at Tyler, RISD, the Pilchuk Glass School in Seattle and at the Penland School of Craft in Penland, NC.
Their work is in permanent collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The American Craft Museum, The Corning Museum of Glass and the SMithsonian Institute.

Karl McWherter Photography has “officially” just arrived to the Boyertown and surrounding area. However, much of his photography has been seen by the community for years. Parents of young soccer players and musicians alike have been enjoying images captured at public events throughout the region.
Live music venues from clubs to theaters to festivals have benefited through Karls passion for photographing music in motion. In addition his enthusiasm for rally car racing has brought him and viewers to forest roads in PA, NY, &ME.
His skill lies in exposing his surroundings and occasions within their natural environments in a way that really creates a unique experience for the viewer.
