Every fall we open our orchard to families and friends to get outside and reconnect with their food. People from all over visit the farm to enjoy a stroll through our orchard, hand-picking their next snack directly from the tree, bush, or vine. Varieties of apples, cherries, pumpkins, raspberries and pears are all available as they ripen and there is no better way to get the freshest, highest quality fruit at the lowest prices.
What's Picking Now? : Sour cherries are done for 2010 and we're looking forward to the fall PYO Kick-off + 40th Anniversary Celebration, September 4 & 5!
Apple Varieties: (in order of availability) McIntosh, Cortland, Gala, Jonathan, Jonagold, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Rome, Stayman Winesap, Fuji and Granny Smith.
Pear Varieties: Bosc, Comice, Bartlett, and Red Canal.
Call Ahead!! Stop by Frecon Farms to find out which varieties will be available that week and be sure to call ahead (610-367-6200) to ensure weather has permitted operations for that day!

*While the store accepts credit and debit cards, the family would like to remind everyone that only cash and checks can be accepted in the orchard, so don’t forget to hit the ATM machine on the way to the farm!
